I have a 7850 overclocked so it's probably a decent enough comparison with a stock 580 and I have an ancient Athlon II X4 640 and I play Skyrim at 2560*1440 and it's lovely, given that my CPU is pretty much pants then you will be fine.

Oh and I only have 4GB RAM (MB/CPU/RAM last part of my upgrade before anyone asks why :) )
 
Mine was despatched from S.Korea at 18:05 on a Friday and had arrived at Leeds DHL depo by 5am the following Monday, but was held from delivery due to the custom payment so ended up going down and picking it up myself.

But to get from S.Korea to the UK over a weekend is crazy good!

The colours on the benq were nice but tv shows etc still looked sharper on my veiwsonic despite colours being more dull, hard to explain. Anyway as soon as I went to 2560 x 1440p the difference was huge! so much better!

What can I say but WOW!

I was doing a system upgrade from Q6600 to IB and I'd thought I'd treat myself.
Went for the Crossover 27Q-non pivot. Ordered Tuesday PM, delivered Fri AM. :eek: FedEx door to door. No customs charges yet. No dead/stuck pixels I can see.
The seller says he checks them before sending. He did put a note in the box, but there's no way of telling. He included a Korea >> UK adapter.

Installed new 560Ti on my old P5B motherboard.Coming from a Dell 2405FPW this is a revelation. Everything is brighter and sharper.

Think I paid £600 for the Dell in 2005/06. You could almost get three of these for the same money.

Will it last as long as the Dell ? Only time will tell, but this has to be one of the best bits of hardware I've bought. Time to switch out the P5B for the Z77 board and 3570K.
 
Evening guys.

I can't help but hate the bezels on all of these displays, was just wondering if there are any Koren imports that have thinner bezels?

Apart from the bezel, these monitors look the dogs dangleys.
 
I know the "Cat Nip" style monitors require dual link DVI and the pages indicate they require dedicated graphics.

Has anyone managed to run them on a laptop with HD3000 Intel Graphics? My laptop has two DVI ports in its dock (Dell Lattitude E6420)

Worth saying the quality of the screen is excellent, sharper, better blacks, more accurate color than any other screen I have used. Gaming at 2560 x 1440 is a HUGE stepup from 1080P !!
