Yellowstone

damn gonna miss that character! :D
the jumping in timeline is getting frustrating, it would help if they made it a little clearer before the end of the scene, i guess Kevin Costner leaving really left them with to little time to come up with something a bit more workable.

If this is the last season then it would be fitting, its getting a bit drawn out and the characters are far to one dimensional to carry it.

I’m still enjoying it, but it’s suffering from the fate of most TV shows - escalation of stories to go “bigger and bolder” from one season to the next.

It started as a much simpler show set mostly within the ranch and outdoors (which I preferred), whereas now it seems a more generic drama and has lost its earlier charm.

this is the problem with tv series ...gotta milk em to death. should always just finish on a strong end series..but money what can you do.

at least in the latest ep it finished as i and many would have wanted ;)

1883. Absolutely
1883 is one of the best shows I've watched!

This is my problem with a lot of shows nowadays, they milk it so much they lose their way and I lose interest. That's why I liked 1883, it was one story and done. 10 episodes and wrapped up, no dragging it out or filler.

Thanks for the heads up, I started 1883, 2 episodes in.

I’d say it’s pretty slow at the moment but you can feel it building up. The scene right at the start was brilliant. She’s like the original Beth if you will, hopefully they don’t make her annoying.

As above 1883 is excellent.

Other than that - not spin-offs but the other Taylor Sheridan shows are also excellent.

Mayor of Kingstown
Lioness

and the new one - Landman

all better shows than 1923 imho.
i liked 1923 tbh and 2nd series starts in spring. 1883 is okay until just after midway then you basically know whats going to happen.

It's getting interesting...

I hope the situation escalates and we'll see Casey in action :D

I sure hope so, I’m finding these last couple of eps a bit on the boring side. They’re building up to it but at the same time not.

I’m now fully up to date and seen 1883. I thought it was pretty good but there was a few annoying things it for me but I guess that’s why she was who she was.

Onto 1923…
