Yellowstone

I also thought 1883 was great - 1923 not so much.

1923 seemed to get bogged down with letting Ford and Mirren try to out act each other plus the overseas honeymoon sub-plot went on far too long.

Thought the 2nd episode was just weird.

Seemed like they just edited random leftover scenes together and called it a day.

One scene Rip is in Texas, the next he is back at the ranch, then in Texas again.

Casey is playing happy families at his new house, next scene he is in tears, then its back to house DIY.

I guess it was supposed to be a series of flashbacks but it just came across as a bit of a jumble - and really what was the point ? I did wonder if there was a streaming fault at one point.

Beth got on my nerves the more the series progressed. Not caught up with S5 yet.
My biggest disappointment in the series was when she didn't get killed in the episode she took a kicking. She's up there with the Sopranos wife and breaking bad wife as most irritating weekly character. She was funny for a few episodes and now the trope is done.

Beast through another 6-7 episodes today.

Away to start another. Agree with Beth stuff though, liked her in the first couple of season but starting to annoy me now as well.

The Jamie stuff is doing my head in though, i’m away to start season 5. Surely they’re going to kill him off sooner or later!

ahahahaah exactly how i felt... i even checked to see if i was playing the correct episode still!
Yep same just watched ep2 last night.

People were complaining on ep1 jumps, but thought that was fine and just trying to bring things back up to speed and mix something lighter in with the dark in the present time. But episode 2 did seem jumbled and not very well edited at all!
