You are having...

You should have fitted a sump baffle, it would have added a fiver to the list price of the car.

You should have used softer material for the big end bearing shells.

You should have used more substantial weatherproofing on the axle tube ends, or at least used harder wearing metal for the trailing arm shafts.

But on the whole, well done - you saved your company from bankrupcy.

Why did you remove the AWS Check/Control system from the 99 onwards models? Why did you remove the door handle lights? Why did you downgrade the stereo? What exactly was it about the £11 per car you saved on this £20,000 list price model that made you think 'Damn, thats a good idea'.

Oh, and WHY did you fit drum brakes to the rear of a 136bhp, 2.0 16v car when *all* the competion had discs all round, even on lower powered models?

That gap infront of the radiator thats just perfect for a front mount intercooler. Did you genuinely consider putting one there? Was it cost or effect on the radiator that stopped you? (wingmount design/manufacturing process implementation seemed a bit rushed/not fully tested as vibrations crack them over time).

Why couldnt you have offered the Jap aero spec body kit on the UK cars?

Did you let a university gap year student design the UK standard fuel map?

Why was your advertising so rubbish/non existant?

Edit for Zip: 200sx

Just out of interest, what car do you drive

for the GT4:

Whats so good about superstruts on the road?
Why on earth were the standard alloys 3 spoke!

for the Prelude:

Why didnt you bother doing the whole dash electrolumiscent from the start?

Why did you put rear drums on when you could have put your baby discs on the back......Why did you mount the engine so far forwards.....

Oh and why the bleedin' hell did you have to use Italian steel for a bit :(

That's about it. I'm fine with everything else :D

good thread :D

Why did you give the car good power, but an engine noise that closely resembles a sewing machine.

oh and why did you sell the tools to proton, now I drive round in what looks like a proton persona Halfords special.

why the 15inch alloys.

why the understeer

why a lsd in some and not in others

why AYC in rally car but not road car

why the over the top compression ratio mixed with pistons made from chocolate

why the crankwalk

why the turning circle of the titanic

why use glue for the roof thats eats metal.

The guy with the V8 dolly I know is always moaning about italian steel. Apparently shipped open to the elements too so it was already rusting before it even entered the factory:D.

I'll get you some photos of the dolly some time, it's a bit rat look, even has moss growing on it:D.

So how many engines did you have to test before you found one that actually did 321 BHP?

Did it really have to be that heavy? As awsome as it is wit ha few 100kg less she would have been truely deverstating

How much of a bonus did the chap that invented VTEC get? It wasn't enough :D

How did you rationalise only putting front cupholders in JDM cars? We do have softdrinks in England too.

Truck : Who in thier bloody right mind thought that putting the transmission shifter on the column and the transfer case shifter on the floor was a good idea?
Who was the bright soul that thought that 9 inches of blank space in front of the radiator loked good?
Who's in-law works in the 305CID engine department, barring that who did you hate in the 350CID engine department?
Why aren't running boards standard on these things? Would it kill you to put something resembling a reasonably sized climate control system in here? Oh, wait. You did. Just 6 years too late for mine.
Who was the bright numbskull that forgot that people drink coffee in thier cars? It's a 1981 for God's sake. Starbucks was around at that time!! Where's the ******* cupholders?!?!?!?
And cheers to the folks that built a Sherman tank that runs on 4 tyres. That thing is completely indestructable!!

Neon : Ok, joke's over. Where's the REAL car now?
Oh, again it's a few years on down the line. Why did you wait until '99 to bring out the worthwhile version?

Tercel Wagon 4X4 : SR5? WTF you mean SR5?!?!? I thought SR5 meant "performance"? If so, what is "performance" about a car that takes 17 seconds to get to 60mph?!?!?!?
And just how in God's green earth did you manage to get a 1.5L car to get such crapy fuel mileage? I mean, it's only 1500 pounds of car and yet I'm only getting 22 miles to the US gallon!!! The 2200 pound 2.0L Neon gets 30!!!
Cheers to whoever designed the 4WD system. Never driven anything else that's better on the snow and ice. It saved my arse several times this winter.......
Oh, and please see the truck's cupholder comment. Except you idiots at Toyota are even farther behind by 5 years than Chevy was!!!

Sitting down with the designer of the Clio 16v...

"So, why did you never make a turbo version?...hmm?.....Hmmmm?...HMMMMMMM?"

Also:

"Why did you make it have so many common problems?"
