Tercel Wagon 4X4

!!!!!!

Does yours have the artificial horizon? Best in-car gadget EVER!

MY dad and I once bought a Tercel 4x4 off Ebay for £13.99 and took it off-roading on second-hand rally tyres (£5 each) after jacking it up by 1".

Guy at start of course:

"I'll give you £20 if you make it halfway round"

We went round about half a dozen times before getting stuck.

Peugeot 306 TD:

Did you intend that the clutch would be some sort of strongman event?

Surely blind faith isn't the most effective method of putting a car interior together?

Thanks for including a carcinogenic smoke screen as standard.

and finally...

...

learn to wire a car properly you **** ****

Thought of some more:

Olds - which clever bugger thought it'd be a great idea to have the shifter linkage held together by ONE R-clip? Did it never occur to you that this might actually come apart at some point, leaving the gearbox trapped in whatever you'd selected?

And another thing - you had access to the Chevy 350ci small-block, an engine far, far superior to the 307ci in pretty much every single way. SO WHY DIDN'T YOU BLOODY USE IT?!?!

Fiat - why did you wait until the last couple of years of production to fit opening rear passenger windows? Also, would it really have killed you to fit rear brakes that actually worked?

Why did you remove the AWS Check/Control system from the 99 onwards models? Why did you remove the door handle lights? Why did you downgrade the stereo? What exactly was it about the £11 per car you saved on this £20,000 list price model that made you think 'Damn, thats a good idea'.

Oh, and WHY did you fit drum brakes to the rear of a 136bhp, 2.0 16v car when *all* the competion had discs all round, even on lower powered models?
the easiest one of all to answer:-
because Ford know, and have demonstrated this for years, that people will buy the car in huge numbers even without the same kit as the competition.
why spend more per vehicle when it's unlikely you'll sell more.

Did you really consider the 'pendulum effect' when designing the handling/engine placement of the car?

Why not offer the Turbo model in the UK?

I guess this car continues the tradition of never buy the First 2 revisions of anything, only revision 3+

:p

:D

How did you make such a large car so small inside?

Why are the turbo water & oil feed pipes made of such woeful material?

Why is it the slowest car to ever walk gods earth..
How many of them did you sell and where can i get some new wheeltrims? ;)

Why did you contiune to sell this POS and constantly rehash it with different names?

(Obviously, NOT the car in my sig)

Funny replies. :D

My turn:

Some days I can 5 point turn, others it takes 7. Suppose the car being able to do it in 3 is out of the question?

Back in Japan - did the car come with a crystal ball? That's the only way I can imagine knowing what's in the massive blind spot over my shoulder or behind the mamoth A-Post.

RE040 Bridgestones as standard - don't you want your customers to live long and fruitfull lives?

Braking - I'm sure your testing crew noticed the car does an endo under heavy braking, no doubt they found it highly amusing. I'm curious - how many of them actually died after this discovery?

Lets see...

1) Why did you make the rear arches out of the thinnest metal known to man, so that they will ALWAYS rot?

2) Why does a small, town car (albeit a hot hatch version) have the turning circle of a supertanker?

3) Why bother with the 1.8l when the 2.0l is so much more fun?

Why my car has to have the crippled gear ratios that none of the other Civic's or Integras seem to have?

Why do the standard headlights have to be so awful?

Why not put vented discs as standard?

Otherwise I actually quite like my car. I'm under no illusions its quite rapid but its not a sports car so thats fine by me because it doesn't try to be.

Ford Focus - You make a sport tdci model, but you use the same 1.8 115 tdci engine, why didnt you put in the 2.0 130 tdci lump, or the 2.2 155 tdci version? you could have then had the best handling AND performance in the diesel area :D

Pug 306 D Turbo - where do all those random pieces of interior trim that drop off come from?

great advice said:
Evo - Id shake his hand

Rover - Cant say what id say on this forum  Id start with him getting to admit its just a tarted up Rover 25 and not living up to the MG name

Get the Mitsubishi designer to admit the Evo is a tarted up Carisma whilst your at it ;)

My car:

Where do I start? :p

Why didn't you make it with upgraded brakes?

Why did you fit a Torsen differential but keep with poo dampers and springs and rely on rubber bushes for toe control?
