Your current Fish tank Setups!

they are very cool, easy to look after?
Yep, this is taken from a guide I read before buying them.

Blue crayfish is a very hardy species. It is very easy to care for them. They are not too fussy about water quality and their diet is an omnivore. So, If you are a beginner and would like to get into breeding crays, this might be a good species to start with.

What size tank do you have? Do they need much space? My 4 year old is obsessed with Lobsters
My tank is 240 litres.
They don't need a lot of space, they live on the bottom of the tank. It's helpful to have a larger tank though, so they don't catch and eat other fish as they grow bigger.

Bought some Dwarf Cichlid's today, they are really small !

Hongsloi Dwarf
Electric Blue Ram
Apistogramma Baenschi - Inca Cichlid
Rams
Long fin Rams
Agassizs Super Red Dwarf Cichlid

Double post. might have go make use and upload some pics aswell.

i do have to say that those guys above would probably appreciate some cover to hide in. Hard to tell with the depth of the photos but are the apistos in the same tank? think i saw a crayfish aswell. What temp is that tank?

I do love the dwarf cichlids. I only got into recently and have an ever expanding collection of tanks. Apistos are a bit problem, just too many species and different colour morphs.

I know rams have balloon and long fin morphs but I like long body regular fin so there's only really 4 colours for me to chose from, GBR, gold, electric blue or black knight.

But apistos..... you could have 100 hundred tanks and would still just be scratching the surface

I had an electric blue I had to give away because it attacked everything, anywhere in the tank. But the Bolivian ram now which is much more peaceful.

There is plenty of space for fish to hide.
The Aircraft carrier is completely hollow and is 67cm long and 17cm tall, with another stone cave on the right.

I'm running 2 heaters during winter and the temp is between 24-25c.
The crayfrish has built it's own cave under the plant on the left side

Keep an eye on that rainbow shark! they can be complete ass at times (ask me how i know!)

Lost my angel a few weeks back, got an injury below its eye that i can only assume happened due to swimming into some rock (im gonna assume it was bothered by the rainbow shark, not that they ever bothered each other per-say but nothing else would have caused it to spook) and perished a few days later, added metafix but no joy, gonna miss that little fella, was like a little puppy that was always watching you.

One of the crayfish I bought had a broken claw and damage to the upper leg shell area - see the highlighted sections in the photo below.
It was easy to tell the two apart because of this.

This morning I woke up and the claw & leg are both fully repaired and looking completely normal. Can they regenerate this quickly?
