ah no it was an atari game it was a wild west across the screen shooter no idea what that was called

Console game was Mario Bros 1.. in 1986 Although my Deluxe NES also came with Duck Hunt and Lightgun and ROBB the robot. Infact i still have it in the loft somewhere.

PC was Repton in 1988.. BBC Micro.

ohh.. the days :)

Some asteroids game on the Vectrex. Shortly followed by Flight Simulation on the ZX81 then Parsec on the Texas TI99/4A, all in the same year I think.

Asteriods on Atari VCS. On home computer Parsec on ti99/4a.PC DOOM. oh i forgot about tennis on a grandstand thing (sposerred by Kevin Keegan!)

Probably Space Invaders on the Atari from what I can recall... it all seems a very long time ago! ;)

Although the first game I ever bought was Elite for my Spectrum 128k

First ever PC game was SWOTL on a P333DX (?) with a 40MB HD, some very very happy memories spent dogfithting over France etc :D

Pedro on the Dragon 32.

The sole object of the game was to keep ants out of your garden by stamping on them! Fun huh?

A very poor asteroids clone call 'Meteoroids' on the Speccy back in 83. Second one I played was 'Timegate' by Quicksilva also on the speccy.
Those 3D graphics just blew me away.

What's crappy about the C64  some of the finest games ever created were created on theat machine

Only memory i have from games that he had, was there was a Dancing elephant on one... and the other was a plane game, and he never worked out how to get it out of the hanger lol

Used to play games on a machine that used tape players, was good fun rewinding it to the right time to play, can't really remember the games, think they were mostly crap. First one I remember was this random train related game (on a floppy though) that had 3 towns on each side you had to connect with railways and trains loved to crash. Awesome game.

Aztec Challenge or it could have been Jet Set Willy on the C64

Great days !

Aren't we just spoilt by games these days though ? I mean look at Star Wars Force Unleashed, it's got mixed reviews, but just imagine going back to the 80s in a time machine and taking a game like that with you !

We are all just far too spoilt these days !

Pong

I don't know the name of the system but it had two control sticks with a turning knob at the top.

if thats the same as what i played its the Binatone, first ever games machine i think! i still have it in its box, sadly the gun was lost for duck hunt, which was the first game i ever played.
