Your First Ever Game....

If we're speaking consoles, my first ever game was probably Ridge Racer or something similar. Got a couple of games with my Playstation when they came out.

If we're talking PC games then I'd say the first game I played properly was Unreal Tournament. Later followed by Quake Arena and Spearhead.

I actually can't remember the very first game but I'm sure it was something on the Apple II, with nice green+black graphics technology.

Games like: Rescue Raiders, Aztec, Karateka, Oil Barons, Decathlon and Montezuma's Revenge. Fun times. :)

if thats the same as what i played its the Binatone, first ever games machine i think! i still have it in its box, sadly the gun was lost for duck hunt, which was the first game i ever played.

Doesn't look like it from what I can remember. IIRC the "console" just had Pong on it and two controllers you could remove from the console itself. :)

The closest picture I can find of it:

However, that's not the exact model, just what the controllers looked like.

Pong

I don't know the name of the system but it had two control sticks with a turning knob at the top.

Ditto, my version of the console also came with a light gun in pistol and rifle form with a extra stock attachment, and a sort of motorbike game with an additional throttle type controller where you simply sped up a little motorbike sprite fast enough to do a jump over a gap. Happy days.

Original Settlers / Civilization / Colonization on Floppy discs on my 386 10Mhz / 2Mb Ram. Thats back in '94 or maybe a bit before.

Sweet sweet days.

Then I added a Creative Sound Blaster, original. Wow, music and sound made it all seem so wonderful! :D

first ever game prolly pong on a tv games machine. (poor atari wannabe)

My first truly Great game on c64 however...

We had one that was modelled a bit like an Atari VCS - black plastic and wood. Exact same games though.

Must have been a pool game on a friends 16K Spectrum circa 1983. My first computer was a Vic20 (couldn't afford the C64) and I had a space game called Gorf which was on a cartridge so instant load times!
