Your First Ever Game....

Bubble Bobble, Samurai Warrior: Battles of Usagi Yojimbo and Army Moves were probably the first games I ever played, all on C64.

i nick one of those from my uncle when helping him move house. boxed and complete.

Sold it on the bay of e for about £200!

bank to topic, tetris was my 1st game on gameboy. but 1st pc game was Doom 1 on a 486. not too old school as i'm 24 years young :D

i remember my first game, it was a ping pong type thing on a binatone console-y thing.

the 2nd was something on my aunts vic 20.

it involved 'landing' a blob on a 'runway'*

*on vic 20's, all 'graphics' are a debatable term.

A classic space-invaders clone on the ZX Spectrum 16. It was the first game on the cassette, could never get any of the others to work :(

My first games I played were either the Arkanoid game that came on the Horizons tape with the Spectrum... think it was called Thro' The Wall. Or one of the Horace games, maybe Horace and the Spiders. Or Chequered Flag.

*sigh* So many great games... Jet Set Willy, Elite, Gauntlet, Bounty Bob Strikes Back, Boulder Dash, Saboteur, Uridium, Cybernoid, Operation Wolf, Tapper, Yie Ar Kung Fu, .... the list goes on and on and on. I'm glad I experienced gaming on the Spectrum, C64, BBC et al. Kids that only ever knew gaming that involves blue hedgehogs or fat plumbers really don't know what they missed out on.

Booty on the Speccy 48k

My dad and I used to play it together:)
Heh, I remember that game too... awful Sea Shanty music though :D

Think my first ever game was Frogger on my old Commador Vic 20. Must have been 6 or 7 at the time. Pretty hazy memories. PLaying Wolfenstein 3d on my dads old IBM 386 was a much more fond memory. Used to scare the crap out of me!

Daley Thompson's Decathlon on my ZX48k spectrum
they were the days, you could go in just about any newsagent and buy games for as little as £1.99
