Not sure on my game of the year but Starfield was a mega disappointment for me.

i have tried a few times to get into this game to no avail.

How many hours have you put in date I ask? I’d love to commit but have limited time these days…

A single player game should take around 80-100 hours depending on how completionist you want to be.

A multi player game would be similar but rather depends on how focused or easily distracted the group are.

And then there's the character creator .....

I paid £12 albeit during the absolute car crash of the first year release window. I'd stretch to £15 after the improvements/finishing the game as it should have been.

Jagged Alliance 3, loved its mix of tactical combat and roleplaying, great humor too.

Runners up would be BG3, RE4, Atomic Heart, Jedi Survivor.

CS2 as I'm 43 now, so no need to remember tons of keys/buttons/menus etc. Love the simplicity of CS2.

Every now and again I seem to end up on a server where there is no clear cheaters - I can still do OK. Shame 80% of the time I'm just click bait for the cheating stat-munchers.

Released this year - Despite its flaws, I’ve probably enjoyed Starfield more than anything else this year.

Older game - Played RDR2 for the first time though and it’s probably one of, if not the best game I’ve played.

I'm going with Resident Evil 4 as it's the only game I've finished.

Cyberpunk, Didnt play it until "the the game is fixed" patch. A very solid 9.5 out of 10 for me.
