voodoo5 5500
Geforce 3 Ti200
9600XT
8800GTX (current)

Pretty modest prgression compared to most although i see most making a continual jump from gen to gen.

For me the jump from 9600XT to 8800GTX was immense

As soon as I started actually buying the cards I became a price:performance maniac, but before that:

S3 2mb integrated
Cirrus Logic 2mb PCI
Stealth Diamond PCI
Cirrus Logic 4mb (at the time I didnt realise how dumb this was, I cut the memory chips off another Cirrus Logic card I had at the time and placed them in the memory expansion slots on the card...and it worked! All these cards were bought from carboot stalls anyway)
ATI Rage3D 16MB integrated
Voodoo3 (borrowed)
Geforce256
SIS Integrated chip
Radeon 9800 Pro (my first real GPU, loved this for the cost, as I got it when they just came down)
Radeon 9550/600 got these for family and ended up playing around with them
X800Bravo (got for my brothers PC but toyed with it)
X1900XT my first real upgrade after the 9800 Pro. HUGE leap in performance
Mobility X1800 in my laptop
8800GTS 512 (Good card, just didnt last me as long as I'd like at 1920x1200)
Radeon 4870
