Let's see.

Generic VGA thing, ATI thing with a katana on the box, brief daliance with an S3 Virge, but it was faulty so I sent it back, Matrox Mystique linked to an Orchid Righteous 3D Voodoo 1 (best name for a graphics card ever IMO), Riva TNT, GeForce 1, GeForce 4 maybe, GeForce 5200 Mx 128MB, Geforce 6200 128MB, GTX 7950 512 MB, GTX 8800 768 MB. Huh, looks like nVidia all the way.

ATi Rage IIc 4MB AGP
16MB Voodoo Banshee PCI
128MB nVidia Geforce FX5200 AGP
64MB nVidia Geforce 4 Ti4200 AGP
128MB nVidia Geforce 4 MX 440 AGP
128MB ATi Radeon 9700pro AGP
128MB nVidia Geforce 6600GT AGP
256MB ATi Radeon X1950pro PCI-E
512MB ATi Radeon HD3870 PCI-E

Soon to be ATi Radeon HD4850 X2 2048MB PCI-E

Heres an updated history of my graphics cards:

1993-1997 no name/onboard gfx

videologic powerVR neon 250 (1997) 4mb - I remember getting this card just as 3d card were first being introduced.

matrox millennium g400 (oct 1999) 32mb - Dual dsub/bump mapping were its big features.

*the memory void*

asus v9200 gf3 (jul 2001) 64mb

asus v8460 ultra - gf4 ti 4600 (mar 2002) 128mb - This card expired when the memory modules were ripped off it in an unfortunate modding experiment.

asus radeon 9800xt (Oct 2003) agp 256mb - Unknown retiral, in family pc now.

gigabyte 6800gt (2004) agp 128mb - Part of a shuttle silent setup, possibly now dead.

asus en7900gt top (2006) pci-e 256mb - Cant recall why this one didnt last too long, current location unknown.

xfx 8800gts (nov 2006) pci-e 640mb - Current and best.

xfx gtx260 black edition (jan 2009) pci-e 896mb - this one was RMA'd within a week after it was found to be unstable even with default clocks.

I have bought many more cards, but those werent for my main pc.

I'll probably wait till later in the year before getting a new card.
