IME it is generally conspiracy nuts who don't think for themselves as most of the common conspiracies are rather flawed and wouldn't be believed by them in the first place if they did.

Critical thinking would suggest he had at least a half decent change of being right, but he doesn't. If he's right it's more by luck than good judgement. He's a nutter.

I've had some vague awareness of him from around about the start - IMO he started out somewhat seriously but as Shampoo said recognised along the way how to monetise and these days is largely doing it as an entertainer and doesn't believe 90% of what he says.

Actually he has admitted that he does play some things up just to attract attention to his channel, have to play the game to some degree, otherwise you would just be any number of other alt media channels, call it dirty if you like but I suppose that's what you have to stoop to to get your core message across.

I think Alex would actually have a pretty high IQ, he retains knowledge incredibly well and finds patterns in bizarre things, it just all seems a bit wasted but in his case he's making good money from it so doesn't care.

It looks like it is all one giant psy op, to possibly get a member on the "inside" of these conspiracies etc.

I probably shouldn't be spending so much time on this, but once you get started..

Anyway, he's already said many times that he has various family members in or have been in the special forces/black ops, no secret. Now if anybody is a plant of the powers that be, it's Anderson Cooper who did work for the CIA briefly and is now with CNN. Now Jones hates CNN with a passion so how does that all tie together. The intelligence agencies over there must be pretty fractured and be ladened with rogue groups throughout. Fascinating. The murky world of spies and splinter groups, wish my life was that interesting.
