i wonder when you admit to obtaining premium illegally there view of you changes

Not many people consider paying 10-20% much of a problem in my experience

Still using my South African account. Since I had an account before moving to the UK and just got a friend to help me reactivate it. Using SA address and debit card. Costs like £3 a month.

I had to get a mate there to set up my account on my details again though. It would not let me reactivate the account whilst here in the UK.

The amount it costs in Europe compared to the rest of the world is ridiculous, I'd happily pay at like New Zealand rates.

I got a notification within the YouTube app on my mobile and just clicked agree

I wonder if the fact that I've made a couple of superchat donations over the last year and have a premium sub to a channel will make any difference if they do end up cracking down more.

As I'm more likely to sub to a channel or make a one off donation to a user because I'm saving money on the monthly payments. I'd probably cancel my $5 a month to Dropout if I had to pay more for the overall YouTube subscription.

But YT don't know that, you are using a SA card/account, set up from SA. YT don't know it was your mate who pressed the buttons on a keyboard. Whereas we are doing a digital vacation on VPN sitting on a sofa using UK accounts.

I'm aware of the differences. As far as YT is concerned I have a legit SA account. My point was that YT would not allow me to activate it again in the UK, even with a VPN to SA.
What everyone else is doing is different due to not having local bank account in the respective country.

Currently have an Indian yearly sub that runs out in Feb. Hopefully it allows me to buy a year again, even if it's more expensive then normal.

You can try and add another year now. My yearly subscription runs out in May I haven't been able to add to it.

How are you guys paying? , if you don't mind me asking. Currently residing in ,erm. Mumbai, but always found now I need a card registered to an Indian bank for payments to extend my sub so hitting a brick wall .
