And this is using a revolut card? Any way round this?

Which country were you in at the time you signed up for Premium, Argentina? Is it a Visa Revolut you're using? YouTube sent out emails some months ago that said this:

Due to a recent change in Visa's processing policies in Argentina, payments may be declined if your card was not issued by an Argentine Bank. If you use an international Visa credit card or debit card, payments may fail and your subscription may be suspended. To avoid a disruption in your membership and other purchases, please add an Argentinian-issued credit card to your payment methods as a primary or as a backup payment method.

My subscription is paid on my Curve card, a MasterCard and I've had zero issues including when I needed to update the card details in March.

It was a Mastercard Revolut. Tried it in India and Turkey and Argentina. All went fine up until payment.

Try turning off the vpn when hitting the payment button.

The trouble is only when making the initial subscription.

Mine is working fine via India for years.

-Anytime I try like that the payment window just sits there with the spinning blue circle, doing nothing

Yeah I either get those on Argentina and India, or on Turkey it just sits spinning seemingly not even trying to process a payment

I'm using Urban VPN, on Chrome and Edge

I could only get it to work with the 1 month trial + monthly payments, using Chase Mastercard. My friend using the same payment though had to use Edge - Which wasn't working for me haha

I don't use it. I'm just using Ads Block browser extension. But it only works for PC. You can go with Youtube premium or VPN like https://nordvpn.com/

Even on android phiones - if you access YT via firefox as opposed to the lauded app, can't you block them, like on a pc

I know people are using alternative means for YT Premium. But this is bad behaviour from Youtube, we use adblock because companies took the mick with the amount of ads that it became an annoyance and made the platform unusable. This includes many websites.
