YouTube Premium

For the faffing abotu with various apps, for £1 a month (indian VPN setup) it's worth just buying the year membership for £12.40 or something when Rupees are converted to GBP
This is what I do currently, as it's just simpler for me, but I don't think the native experience is that amazing, other apps could well be better and allow more flexible downloads (actual video/audio files that don't expire if you don't come online/resubscribe).

Since my original posts in this thread I've discovered that realistically you can get all the benefits from using 3rd party apps, so unless you want to use the built in youtube app on a device with less simple app management such as a TV, it's hard to make a really good case for it as it used to be.

Which 3rd party apps could be used I'm guessing using Firefox for mobile and installing one of the ad blocker extensions is the only way?

Got windscribe running... Go to google.com and whats my ip and it comes up as turkey, but whenever I go into youtube.com it comes up with £12 per month. Any suggestions?

Cleared cookies/etc? Although don't think I did, just hit refresh and got the new prices. Also there are multiple turkey IP's to choose from.

Try a proper VPN I'd say, Google probably knows all of Windscribe's IP addresses.
Went through 3 proper paid VPN's and nothing worked (all trials and got refunds however ;) ) then someone here recommended windscribe and it did the job about 6 months ago when India suddenly stopped working.

It's frustrating my every day VPN Mullvad doesn't have any of the cheap YT trial areas :(

My time is worth more than the faff.

seems like a reasonable Premium trial option you open a google one account for a month £1.59 and get a 3 month Premium trial

Does everything on YT premium have a better bitrate audio stream ?

wanted to find a decent version of this last night - the best free 143kbs version has miserable audio quality
