ukraine looks to be working for me atm.

Just tried Ukraine, it worked!!!!!

Thank god for that, I am not touching it anymore. I was on Argentina and helped my sister to get a Turkey Annual plan so I thought I do the same, canceled my Argentina sub and then it won't let me get the Turkey one, or back to Argentina....

Ukraine is £2 a month, it's 50p more than Argentina and double Turkey's annual sub but I am going to leave it now until it kicks me out or my card's expirary date comes up.... £2 a month is much better than £12.

My paid for vpn wouldn't work, but a free chrome extension did. Had the same error as you. Strange.

It’s weird, the same debit card that worked for Argentina didn’t work when I tried to use it on Turkey or renew back on Argentina.

But then it work on Ukraine.

There are so many variables, I think I’ve tried them all today, different card, different VPN (nord and windscribe), different OS (iOS, iMac with old Mac OS 10.14, new Mac OS, windows 10), tried 6-7 different card, debit and credit, visa and MasterCard, even different ISP to get online. Finally what worked was a different country.

Looks like you guys are right. The days of using Turkey are over. Current annual sub expires April 24 but thought would try and extend and can't get anything to work, keeps saying transaction declined. Using same card I used to get the annual sub 2 months ago.

Tried different VPN.. tried adding a different card to Gpay but it won't let me select it.. when add it manually at payment page just declined as not from same country.

It's a shame I didn't just do monthly instead, so it's recurring (annual is not) and price stays low.

If anyone can still get Turkey to work please do post. Otherwise is Ukraine the cheapest that works at £2/m? Not sure if should lock it in now before they stop that too.

Well how did it work for me back in March....?

Here's why. We used two different debit cards, that's the difference so it got to be that
Maybe ExpressVPN swapped out their servers in that 3 months so they weren't just virtual and actually located in Turkey - can't say for sure.

Just look back at the multitude of posts here, there are people who have replicated what someone else did hours before and it doesn't work for them, as @Raymond Lin said, so many variables.

Anyway, we're talking slightly at cross purposes here, I tried both Nord and Express on their Turkish servers, both gave me UK prices, I never even got to the point of trying a debit card on either service with those VPNs.

Once I used windscribe, I connected, refreshed payment page, got the lira price and the card worked. The debit card was a total non-issue.

Didn’t work this time round for me.
1. Clear cache of web browser
2. Activate VPN
3. Go to youtube premium of the selected country (Brazil or whatever)
4. Cheaper price should show up, before you pay try disabling the VPN

Also a point to note is that if it's a VISA card it might give you issues, try revolut virtual card as they come out as a Mastercard

That all used to work. Now it doesn't with Turkey, same as they stopped India and Argentina previously.

Been reading online on Reddit as well as HUKD and not one person at all has got Turkey to work. Literally everyone is saying same thing we are all saying here.

Ukraine also mentioned as the cheapest one that works.. how long for is the question.

It’s not the browser if I used a different computer and a different OS.

I’ve tried…

Barclays debit visa
Barclays credit visa
Monzo mastercard
Halifax MasterCard
National wide Visa credit
Starling Mastercard
Wise Visa

I tried different computer.

I tried different browsers.

I tried different VPN.

I tried Argentina and Turkey, when I switch country I tried all the different combinations again.

I tried different operating systems using different browsers using different VPN with all the combinations of cards.
