Does anyone know if India/Turkey/Argentina YT family sub still working as of mid June 2023?

I can't seem to get payment authorised as keep getting the error "[or-reh-05] This purchase requires a payment method from this country". or The We can't verify your country error.

Previously was signed up with YT india till my card stopped taking monthly payments and wouldn't take new payment cards.
Haven't been able to get India/Turkey/Argentina working due to above errors but got Ukraine working on a trial just now. Not sure if it will also give me the or-reh-05 error when it comes to pay time.

Would dodgy vpn servers be the issue here or have YT clamped down in india/Turkey/Argentina? Anyone had recent experiences?

The fact that you might be able to pretend to be in another country is neither here nor there. And judging by the trouble some are having, it's not even guaranteed.

The asking price is £12/month.

They should have an option for just no ads, I don't want music and being able to download, just want rid of the ads for a reasonable price.

I'm on android and it's also the lack of background app running that's annoying.
I know there are apps out there that will block the ads for me built in, but it still wouldn't solve the running in background issue, perhaps there are 3rd party apps I should look into?

I found down, but did you go for the browser extension, if so, which browser, if not, which OS did you use?

Because if I put it to Chrome extension, I don't see a country selection and when I got the App for Mac, it asked for payment.

@Raymond Lin I re-added the extension, logged into my windscribe account, then clicked on the jigsaw/extension, I click the globe icon to change location

Yeah, I got that far now, still showing £11.99.

NordVPN at least got it to show Turkey, but none of my cards work....I tried like 6 different cards, I can get as far as payment but doesn't go through.

Not sure what to do.

I've also tried Argentina again, that doesn't work.

I've tried installing the extension on both Mac and Windows, no luck. Tried it in Safari and Chrome, no luck in either.

With Windscribe it doesn't fool it at all.

Could be I face the same issue when i'm forced to re-sub - it has been 6 months since I used WS so guess something got changed.

At the moment, i'm just letting the sub recur on my revolut card for 59.99TRY/month and hoping it doesn't stop anytime soon.

I even tried using 4G instead of my ISP, then VPN on both.

Problem with that is when I get to the bit where it ask for Approval from the bank the notification doesn't load...

I might need to try it from a different ISP.
