There was a recent change to midrolls. I'm in the youtube partner program now, saw some blurb about it.Seems like YT, probably following Amazon, have significantly upped the ad load and inserted midroll ads on older videos even when creators have declined them... some videos are literally unwatchable without ad block...
Is that correct, according to their website here it's only for people in higher education?Worth a mention again, if you or anyone you know, is a student or works in a school/university, get the student plan. Full Premium for 9 quid a month or so.
When I say student I am thinking of a "university student"Is that correct, according to their website here it's only for people in higher education?
I didn't actually see your edit, it was when you said works in a school that I got excitedWhen I say student I am thinking of a "university student"

If you have access to an email that has the .ac.uk in it, then you can get student premiumI didn't actually see your edit, it was when you said works in a school that I got excited![]()
Yeah I understand that but no schools will have a .ac.uk address as it's strictly used for further education (unis etc)If you have access to an email that has the .ac.uk in it, then you can get student premium
Agree, i have YT premium but rarely use the music. As soon as they implement a payment tier that is simply to remove ads from the videos, then I'm all over it.
But I really don't want to be paying for YT music etc when I rarely use it.
India method been removed as need local payment method. What's best route now?
Just had an email saying Poland is getting a price increase... £6.
