you know i saw the thread title and poster, an i didn;t dare open this thread.

i knew what i was going to see and i just didn;t want to look..:(

my mother passed away from cancer, and i know that whilst there is grief, there is relief too, knowing that he is not in pain anymore.

It also helps to know that there is a place where he will be remembered. The OCUK forums was a place where he was welcome, appreciated and loved. we all wished the best for him, but sometimes wishing just ain't enough. :(

he will be greatly missed.

As many before have said, I never knew Zoltan but that doesn't stop me being touched by his bravery throughout his illness.

My heart goes out to his family.
 
Rest in peace Darren, you really were an example to everyone. The attitude shown in your cancer thread was truely incredible, and it reminded me whats important in life. And to the family and friends - my condolences. Specifically to Darrens parents - you should be proud to have raised such a wonderful person.

This is so sad :( it feels like it was only the other day he was saying how he wanted to go to the Ferrari factory in Italy. Cant believe it. Rest in Peace...
 
i dont think ive ever cried reading a thread before. i really do feel for you and your family. 2 years ago i lost a friend to Lymphatic cancer and he was only 18 :(. Its such a shame that somone as young as Darren can be taken away like this. May you find peace and happyness in death. RIP
 
I'm so angry that any kind of "god" could do this to someone so full of life and inspiration.

This reminds me why I'm going to study Pharmacology.

My thoughts travel out to everyone who hurts.

God bless.. I wish there was more I could say.. and at the risk of this thread turning into a 'Our Favourite Funeral Poems' thread, I'll post one as well. They really do best express out hearts when we're lost for words.

Just switched on and read this, totally shocked, poor lad so young. My thoughts are with Darren and his family.

I didnt know you but your story touched mine and I guess everyone elses Hearts on the forums.

You were a shinning example of a very brave young man. I hope you know how much you will be missed and I hope where ever you are you are in peace.

I hope our condolences will be passed on to Zoltans Family and our thoughts are with them.
