If you give real address/name they might have then requested corroborating data from ISP,
Yes, for all tv apps/websites - arbitrary postcode/name/details with 30min email account, or separate spam email account.

BBC have cancelled tweet of the day last week so may have to resign membership.

VPN and fake address is all you need if you really want to do it. They won't be able to trace that as a corporation.

Though iPlayer is using a VPN blocking service. Which just looks up a list of known VPN server IPs.

Look at this... the first video.

She starts by reading the house number and then waits for the person in the house to say the rest, this is a tactic, by telling her the rest of the address she has proof of that address.

So, just, who are you? Then they have to tell you "TV licencing" and you say no thank you and shut the door, they have no option but to walk away, don't engage with them at all.

Jesus I've seen Potatoes with better video/audio quality than those ring cameras used in this! No one they added the annotation to "listen carefully"

Have you grown attached to her, you could bin her off?

No.
Would be too difficult to unwind the mortgage.
Just sorted her out.

If accidentally clicked on some live feed on YouTube, do you need a license?
That's incorrect advice as depending on what you are watching you might need a license. Its not a yes/no answer as it depends on the live stream being watched. If you miss click Skynews Live on YouTube while technically you need a licence no one is going to care if you turn it off right away. If you sit there for an hour+ you need a TV licence.

Does it have to be a live feed of TV channel?

From what I recall its only live feeds from broadcast TV channels. Broadcast is the key word. Broadcasters like Skynews live stream via YouTube which does need a licence. None Broadcaster live Youtube is fine without a licence.

You need a TV Licence to watch TV channels on any TV service or live TV on streaming services, no matter where it is broadcast or distributed from. This includes satellite or online streamed programmes from outside the UK or Channel Islands, such as sporting events and foreign shows.
