4- It varies a lot and started off with very few people on Monday, I'd bet it's legit.
 
Is there any way to fast forward in theater even faster than the right trigger does? It's annoying as I have several 60 minute footage and want to take snippets from much later on in them.
 
I wanted to get single player out of the way before I started to get into multiplayer.
Well I've done it and I really enjoyed it even if it is a bit too short.
It's better than I expected and I am now ready to be owned online :D
 
I completed the game on heroic difficulty last night with a friend, yet I didn't receive the achievement for doing so... On the other hand, he did. Was it because I'd previously played the first level solo on normal difficulty?
 
How do you restart the campaign on a different difficulty, my mate is asking me, i haven't had to restart as yet (completed it on normal in one sitting).

He's playing on easy (first time player) but wants to start again on normal/heroic but the options menu only says "resume campaign" apparently.

So, sitting 1' away from a 20" monitor, or 10' away from a 42" widescreen, and you think the 20" would look better? Get a grip man!

The game looks great. Not as "good" as GoW possibly, but you have to look at the engine being used, number of enemies, etc etc. I think all you people complaining about the graphics should quickly return the game and go back to GoW, if graphics do really mean that much to you :)

Try deleting the save game file via dashboard.

Deus ex wasn't exactly bad at the time graphically wise. Seeing as a lot of reviewers mark their games gameplay/sound/graphics/longevity etc, it's not hard to understand why people are saying they are surprised it's got ten. With the short SP, poor gun sounds and basic visuals, 10/10 is the most surprising thing to come out of Edge for years.

See this is why I will never understand you. In regards to your comments on R:FOM for example, you say it's just another generic shooter with poor single player and ok ish graphics. That's exactly what Halo 3 is, nothing more. The graphics are so basic it's just Halo 2 in a higher resolution and feels dated already. The gameplay again feels basic, nothing new. Maybe with beefier gun sounds it would 'feel' better I don't know, but it's just severely lacking in all departments. Or maybe I'm getting old and nothing impresses me anymore...
 
Really enjoying Halo 3 - only played single player so far and enjoying it as much as I did Bioshock (in a different way of course). Almost finished Heroic, will be playing through again on Legendary before tackling multiplayer.

Can't understand peeps calling the SP 'generic' - its streets ahead of what could be termed 'generic shooters' (e.g PDZ / Prey / Farcry / RFOM - all of which I enjoy). Looks fantastic, score / sound is immaculate, controls are just sublime and so on :)

Bungie have done an amazing job meeting expectations of a game that has been hyped as much as this.

You do know what generic means? Would you like to point out what is so different and great in Halo 3 that hasn't been done before?

Epic vehicle battles packed with tons of action going on at the same time?

I don't see anything else that matches the level with all the Brute Choppers and the Scarab Tank on Halo 3.

Brute choppers and Scarab Tanks are your opinion, epic vehicle battles packed with tons of action have been around for years i.e. the Battlefield games.
