Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Official Thread

Been playing R6v2 for the last few days.

But I have just been round my bros messing about on COD4 on a bigger TV than Im used to, whilst getting used to the controls again (remembering that flash bang is the same as trying to run) . First level i look at is MHC. On the 4th try I complete the level! WTF is that about lol.

My heart was racing when I was aiming for that headshot! Now just got to do it on my profile :rolleyes: :p
 
I just think they could have put more into this DLC, such as more challenges or a few more Prestige levels (There are now quite a lot of people on Max level)
Even a few more weapons would be nice.
Especially as they are charging £6 for 1 new map, 1 converted COD2 map and 2 SP maps converted to MP.
 
i would like them to put some old ww2 weapons in ,maybe a garand or a nagant sniper just to make it abit more fun.I know they got the mp44 in but still a few more wouldnt hurt :)

Agreed - Another bonus level would have been good too.

Not too fussed about where the maps come from though, just as long as they play well.

Problem is, unless you've actually played them you don't know if they play well.

I won't be buying the updated maps, I don't consider it worth the extra MS Points/Money.

True, but it doesnt bother me if they are bespoke or stolen from the SP
 
Holy thread revival!!!

Many people still play this game then or have most moved onto MW2,

I play modern warfare 2 a lot on the 360 but dont have a lot of games for my PS3 and spotted this going cheap nowadays so thought I would make a purchase and see how it feels now that I have racked up nearly 10 days worth of MW2.

Back to my original question, does anyone else still play online on this game then because I know some people wernt big fans of the latest edition of modern warfare.
 
i havent played this since mw2 but i am very tempted to go back on to see how it plays compared to mw2,call of duty 4 is still my fav game i have ever played and spent many evenings with the !i clan kicking ass,The good old days!
 
When I played COD4 back in January when we had the snow it felt really nice to play. everything just felt right.

Tell you what though, the chopper absolutely rapes, it's better than a Pavelow.
 
My PS3 copy arrived yesterday,

Fancied a change since I played it a lot on my xbox and its cheap enough nowadays,

It feels like a totally different game to MW2 but I enjoy playing both :)
