Depends what level really. If you take your time you can use a strategy on every level imo. Take the ferris wheel part - that can be completed without even firing a single shot using the correct strategy (although i had to use half a clip as i messed up mine placement slightly :( ).

Granted there are a few levels are very tough, no fighting in the war room i remember too. Using the correct strategy here (don't try to kill everyone, do enough to progress forward) the level is achievable.

What levels are you on about in particular, as the only one i can think of where your always in desperation for a checkpoint is no fighting in the war room.....

Certainly is the way to play the game I agree, just that it's nice to not have to do the same bit over and over. You end up forgetting the storyline

hehe yer, its lucky they put the mile high club at the end as that took an age.

I actually managed to get 22/30 intels on my play through on veteran as they are generally in crappy hiding locations. I used a guide to find the rest that where in slightly more obscure places.

I only had 12 or 13 i think. Now at 29/30, got 4 more locations to check. Gonna finish it off tomorrow though, time for some GoW on Insane now

tbh if you just follow the type of strategy that guy uses - rarely stopping to reload (he does this one time unnecessarily at the start of the second room). Basically, keep pushing forward - i know you want something more specific, but thats the only way way you'll complete the level in time - don't think too much or try to kill everyone.
 
I am finally a member of the Mile High Club after doing the Epilogue mission on Veteran!

It took around 20 attempts, after around the 10th I reached the hostage but missed:rolleyes: and then I finally did it.

Time to calm down :D
