You sure? The game looks fantastic, and I'm getting a lot lower fps than I did in beta with lower settings.

Could it be the beta drivers I'm using? :S

So, does it feel like its going to be a good game? I pre-orderd it today and i'm hopeing that i will enjoy it more than WoW, looking at the screen shots the interface isnt really to my liking though, reminds me of guildwars which i hated.

1. Directx 10 and Early Access not working
   
   Although many of the Directx 10 files do ship with the Early Access version of Age of Conan. It does not work. If running any earlier patch the game will fail to load if you try and use Directx 10 via the SimpleConfig.exe.
   On later patches, the game will load if you select Directx 10, however will only load as Directx 9.
   Directx 10 is expected for release, so the retail boxed version of the game on release, should ship with the fully working Directx 10 files.

Its better than WoW mate, and is totally differant from when you played in the beta (if you did).

If you like WoW, Knights of the old Republic, then you will love this.

yes i know Kotor, but the combat feels like it but more open.

oh, was anyone getting level 50 drops in the game? i got bows and ammunition both at level 50 a few times, though selling them only got me a couple of quid

Aye, and quest reward from bloke outside city gates.

I dont think they are level 50 items, i think its your class cant use the bows until level 50. Hence the req.

What class is that? I only know of four classes that can use bows. Ranger, Barb, Bear Shaman and Tos. The first two learn bow skills at level 5 and the latter at level 22.

On the dx9/10 argument, I assume FunCom hasn't got the game stable in dx10 mode just yet. That makes you think that there will be a noticeable improvement in visuals when they do finally enable it.
