the game looks good at dx9 and it gives some kick to hardware i think to get stable 60 fps on all high its hard when u in a lot of action. so dx10 might struggle even more. its smart derision i say to release in august as there will be new quite powerful cards i hope and they might get dx10 ready with better performance then they would have if they would release it now
 
yea, quite surprised at myself but DX10=meh. Looks great at 1920x1200 and almost max detail anyway so whenever DX10 arrives it'll be a nice bonus.

Maybe the new Nvidia caards will be out by then :)
 
Maxes both my cores on a E6600 and i can hear my gfx fan going full speed, so both :p

Waso, there are level 20-30 zones next to each city. Have you done all the quests in each one?

Is there any need in asking how anything will run at that res on that system? I would have thought it was fairly obvious =/
 
I dunno, it's a new game, so was just wondering if it would with all the bangs and whistles of todays games :)

I'm not really up on whats the best res these days, im still stuck with a standard non-widescreen monitor.

Im still on 1280x1024 when using my monitors too, though my laptops widescreen(though i dont play games on it really) and iv got access to 2 HD tvs to use when I fancy it.

The 8800GT will run games quite nicely for sometime to be honest, its not exactly a slow performing card compared to others available currently is it
 
Does anyone know what happens in these cases:

I got the pre-order key from Play, registered and set up my payment method but was too late for early access.

Do I just get access on the 23rd on that account? Bit unclear on this at the moment!
 
if your payment went through and it should say on the payment history highlighted in green and under your products says early access then my thoughts you should be eligible. Else yeah you need to wait for official release.

From what I've seen (and heard from guildies) that's exactly what will happen - access on the 23rd in the EU unless you have Early Access from the 17th.

Someone was telling me they ran past a level 53 on my server last night. I thought I'd been rushing things slightly (from a personal, exploration point of view) and I'm only level 20! Last Tortage battle was a bit intense!

Did you pay for the early access when you were registering?

I got my code the day the game was released for early access. I thought early access had sold out but it gave me option to pay for early access which i did and now i can access it fine


EDIT: I dont get why people want to race to lvl 80 as quickly as possible? where is the fun in that? I like to explore and learn new things. Although I might ditch my assassin as he cant kill more than 1 person at a time with similar levels where as any other class i tried can kill 2 -3 at the same time
