some people are quick! i played for 2 hours yesterday and got my assassin to lvl 6! grrrr

on a side note, by the time the game is released someone probably hit lvl 80 by then. I wonder how much he could sell his account on release day :eek:

Oh dear, so much for me waiting a month or two before subscribing. Anyway I've ordered my copy and now I'm thinking about what class I'm going to play so I am looking for info. It appears that the official forums are closed as you have to login to gain access and the registering function has been disabled - I presume this is temporary.

I always end up by playing healer classes so I need some advice as to what is best going to suite me. I will be PvE only and will probably end up playing about 60/40 solo/group.

God knows how people are level 60+ already, ive put in three 14 hour days and im only level 23. They must just farm XP and not do any of the quests.

repeatable quest that gave too much xp.

Someone is whingin about it on an above link, blaming the guild for it.

Funny really, you cant expect people to not repeat a quest that is more beneficial than all other quests that take the same length of time?

Cant blame them if all they want to do is race to 80 rather than seeing the whole game. Each to their own i guess.

howis this game running graphics wise?

ive got an 8800gtx e6600 and 2gb ram, will i be able to play max detail at 1680x1080? im getin another 2gb in the not to distant future though

At standard setting's i can usually get 60+fps the lowest i've seen was in Tortage last night when i got 27 fps for a few seconds and the most i've had showing was yesterday afternoon when it showed 270+ fps which left me a bit :eek:

Apologies if this has been answered already (I've been dipping in and out of the thread), but if I picked up the game at a retailer on Friday, would I have 8Gb of patches to download, or just 'tiddly' little patches of a couple of hundred Mb?

I can't imagine playing an mmo with any kind of pad.

By the time you've managed to move the cursor onto an enemy to select them and then back to the weapon button you'll be dead.

This might work in a non-online RPG like Oblivion, but where you're up against other human players speed matters and for me that means keyboard and mouse.

I had this game on pre order but just sent a cancellation request because I am worried about PvP in the game after reading a few user reviews.

I read that melee has quite an advantage and that casters and ranged are somewhat gimped.

Can anyone that has played lots of PvP confirm that this is the case or not? I am a PvP player primarily as I find PvE very dull so if its not upto scratch then I will give it a miss.

how can people get lvl 60 so quick are the leveling is so easy or they just played 24/7 like madman's :eek:

is the levers harder to get then in wow even i didnt play wow i think it took months to get to max level :confused:

I'd imagine if PvP does favour melee at the moment it will get balanced. There's bound to be patches to address that kind of thing, with either buffs to ranged or nerfs to melee.

wonder how long till the bots arrive in game...

Will give this game a few weeks and then buy it, give it a month and see if its the next game for me online. need a game i can play only at weekends and still have fun, already on eve.
