Hi,

The barebones left the Far East late Friday - we're expecting them mid next week [Wed-Thurs] as soon as we get them we'll be posting up pics, weights, and more details.... :cool:

That's a lower spec than we're going to be offering in the short term.

Once we get the first range off the ground we'll start looking in to this area. ;)

Quick question, if I ordered a laptop in the next few days, are all the parts in stock to start building orders? Or is the pre-order date of tomorrow now out-of-date?

All is in stock except the barbones which are due Wed/Thu this week - hopefully we'll start building on Friday - but the Back Order queue is growing rapidly so get your order in! ;)

What's the waiting list/queue looking like at the moment?

I really do want to order one of your laptops but I need it before the 14th of September really (before I go back to uni!).
 
well with a bit of consideration i want to get my self Ultima mobile . how ever im bit confused as 9800gts has 1024 mb of memory maybe u made a mistake maybe its 9800gt wich has 512 mb memory?

ps : i would like my self a ultimate mobile with 9800 gt :P

BTW, For those that were wanting a GT over a GTS, looks like there's not much difference anyway.. Only in the number of pipelines, which few games seem to actually use.

According to the specs on the site I posted, the 9800GT uses 65W whereas the GTS uses 75W.
Of course, that doesn't say if this is while in use (3D rendering) or not, but I hear that with graphics cards it doesn't often make much difference @:

I have to be honest I am struggling to believe notebookchecks figures. It also lists the 9800gtx as 75W. Clevo have stated that the 9800gtx is not suitable in the 860 due to thermal constraints. If the gts is the same wattage then it would also be excluded by clevo.

Edit - and also the 8800gts is listed at 35w :) There is something seriously wrong with their figures!!!
