Not had chance to play any games yet but after doing a double install of the CCC (since I had the same problem with these as I did the 8.9's) everything's working fine and the fan control option is excellent!

No chnage for me in WAR (it doesn't use my GPU at all) & haven't had chance to try out any other games yet. The fan control option is nice.

Will have a play about tonight after I've had some food, mainly on age of conan most likely

Is the fan speed just the default setting when the card is cool, ie will the fan then go faster if the card heats up?

Its just one set speed, it wont slow down or speed up.

That's a shame, it would be great to be able to set higher fan speeds with higher core temps.

Just use Rivatuner, I'm running Rivatune with 8.9 and have setup and series of hardware threshold event to change the fan state.

i.e. default 25%, 70degrees 35% 80degrees 45%.

....but it never gets to 80.

Well I am on a 4870, you on a 4850, it shouldn't make a difference but as you can see in the screens there is no AA option and it is blanked out in the all settings tab, mmmm, strange.
