Show Us Your Motors!

My old man's new car which I'll be driving too on family outings as he doesn't like doing long motorway runs. 2002 Accord 1.8 Vtec Sport, 50k, 1 previous owner and before him it was a demo car for Horizon Honda and has full Honda service history.

I just finishing sealing it after a wash, gotta wash my car next and my arms are killing :S this car is so high my arms just ached buffing off the sealant on the roof!

I also learnt that Japanese paint is very very lightweight, it feels nowhere near as smooth or as thick as that on my car - just a surprise that they don't get chipped so easily!

Also taking the head unit out on these cars is a right pain in the butt, so many panels to remove, so many small things to do!

Nice Accord :) I was fortunate enough that someone had already done the legwork and stuck in an aftermarket head unit in mine, so replacing it was a cinch ;)

I think it's worth doing it just once so that when you do another car or your next car you can look back and go "DAMN YOU JAPS! DAMN YOU!"

Anyways, I drove the Accord for a bit the first time yesterday, it drives very nice I have to say, smooth and everything and I do like the gearbox, very slotty like you see in those racing car videos, clutch down>slot and repeat...

My car feels faster though and pulls stronger in all gears.

Just how many closeup pictures of a car you dont even own do we need in the show us YOUR motors thread mrk :p

Well I put a fair bit of effort into spit shining it and will also be driving it on family days out so :p

It's not exactly a car designed for heavy track use is it  The stock disks are adequate, if you want more stopping power then uprate the pads

Uprated ARB?

Needs lowering....

Spent most of the weekend fitting the eibach arb kit and servicing it, it is lowered on 30mm eibachs as well, but meh, the back sits high for some reason. I'm slowly collecting bits for a zetec turbo conversion. So bigger brakes may come in handy :) .
