****CRACKING deal on 4GB 8500 Kits from Kingston @ £39.99 Inc****

Happily cycles through Memtest #5 at DDR2-1066MHz using only 2.0V, been running this for a few days with no problems. Might try lower if have time but happy with 2.0V.

Will this run ok in a board that only supports DDR800 ram?

Asking this as if i upgrade in the future i could then use this ram or should i get the same make ram but the DDR800 flavour:

Kingston Hyper X 4GB (2 X 2GB) DDR2 6400C4 800MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX6400D2LLk2/4G)
 
Will run fine.

My set arrived today and is in the machine. Haven't tried pushing it at all yet, but will give it a go hopefully over the weekend.
 
mine have just arrived to work. looking all shiney. 8gig of kingston heaven.

wont install until new board arrives so will reply with findings then.
under £80 for 8gb PC8500 :eek:
