Cadwell Park Trackday - Saturday 4th April - £149

Wouldn't mind a crack at Cadwell sometime, will have to give this one a miss though as we're away next weekend plus the car is something of unknown after the weekends sprinting (more details to follow when vix does her report) :(
 
Insured for 11k to cover my mods the s2000 is 109 insurance for the day. I'll be taking it easy and getting some tuition and seeing how I get on.

Your in an ek9 civic aren't you ? You'll be fine !!

If you search up s2000 cadwell park there is an absolutely perfect 'how to get round here at speeds you didn't dream was possible' clip to watch. ..... ..... ..... Honestly though ..... ..... ..... I won't be doing those speeds !

Shame your not coming silent bob, but we will definately be going to Bedford again soon. I'll do a proper thread on it, but my s2000 has been chosen by wheels in motion as their car to develop a proper 'race' geo and suspension setup.... Watch this space !

It sounds like you'll have a great day. The one thing that's a bit boring about Bedford is that it's so flat. Although not quite as fast, I found Brands Hatch much more fun due to the undulations. So I'd expect Cadwell Park to be much the same. I was impressed with the S2000 when you took it to Bredford before as there wasn't much out there that would beat it though the corners. I'm sure you'll suprise a few people when the handling improvements are made.

I'm going to be concentrating on the handling on my car. I've been thinking of getting a set of tyres for the track but it's a pain getting wheels since most won't fit over the brakes without spacers. The standard ones are still selling at £600+ second hand.

Competition car insurance, I think it's usually kim who does policies for me, and I have done enough now that she sees me as low risk.

I have watched a few videos now and I'm really up for this track now.

Anyone got a camera I can borrow to do some footage ?

Aye, but I don't think i'll be on track, not before my alignment is checked, and any possible wheel buckleage.

I dunno - i'll bring my licence and helmet, if they've got spare spaces i'd be tempted.
 
Ace, great to see you both coming along!

Tim, already spoke to paradigm and offered up the passenger seat as has nick, so if you fancy going deaf listening to an f20c soundtrack your more than welcome :-)

Weather looks like it will be awesome so I'll be having plenty of roof down laps !!

Either you or Nick got a semi-decent camera? Me and El both have cameras made of fail.
 
Mine is ok (bullet cam and Mini-DV), but has a bit of an exposure issue which i'm yet to solve! Will give it a go again though.
