HOW DO I BUILD MY PC NOW IVE BOUGHT ALL THE BITS?

Good Job on the build, the first build is always the tensest but more often then not it fires up fine.

I think most parts these days are loads better then they used to be you don’t need to faf around with jumpers or bios settings, its easy plug and play. But I must admit the first time i did mine it was quite overwhelming with all the cables and connectors.

ive got to wait for the OS - its being sent to me in next couple of days

You're not giving that nasty Mr Gates more money? Ubuntu 9.04's just been released for download a week ago... Get you going till your Windows OS arrives.

I am sure that rig will run games with some sweet FPS!!

Also:
Do try aligning that heatsink vertically so airflow is front to back in the case. The Noctua fan will be more effective as a case intake fan in that case (gets around the problem of the fans "deadspot" in the centre). Get temperatures from both configurations to compare (all valuable extra learning experience :D ) - using a delta to ambient temps.
