As for pepper/cs/etc spray, its useless until long after the fact. I had my face held in to 3 canisters from 1" away, and was in no real pain until 30 mins afterwards when I started sweating.

I respect your viewpoint, I just don't agree with it on this occasion. I don't see any need to personally attack you as others are doing though.

American police by any chance? I've seen that also on TV, the stuff looks insane.. 5m away at their backs, and still effective etc. Either way, this was English Police pepper spray. It didnt hurt my eyes themselves at all, because I closed them very, very tightly before it touched me as I knew what was coming. its been confirmed by a police officer that he has served time for rape in the past....now the police said they would go talk to him but is there anything else i can do ?

surely a naughty boy dont do it again is a slap on the wrist to the stress my wife is going through.

Chances are this sad little idiot is just vindictive and gets some sick joy from tormenting others - Clearly demonstrated by his pervious conviction... Chances are he'll just disappear I suspect now he's had his little fun...

But if you feel serious enough about the matter - If he's no longer 'local' but you know where he lives, get a nice picture of him, print of some nice signs saying "RAPIST" and post them around his neighbourhood!

No, Road Wars amongst others

Very real situations, not portrayed by actors. A quick spray of the CS stopped the (usually very drunk) person in their tracks. In one show I remember one of the coppers accidentally sprayed himself and he was in distress for some time afterwards so it obviously does have a big effect.

im trying to find a report in a newspaper...but im not 100% sure of his name and dont really know which town he done it in.

i just dont want to be releasing his details right yet as if something were to happen then i'd probably get done for it.

Well, as someone who has experienced it sober, I'd beg to differ.. Normal English police also dont use CS spray, but Cacta spray (not sure on the spelling, but that is how its said).

As far as the Op goes though, it might not be a bad idea to grab his wife some sort of protection.. If only for the mild intimidation factor it would have. For £20, cant hurt.

And Sandman, way to pull maturity out at the last minute Sandman :rolleyes:

yeah...havent really been anywhere to give him a chance to say anything to us apart from last nite my wife was on her way back from seeing a friend who's mother had passed away.....she seen him around the corner from where we live. she just looked the other way but said when she looked into the rear view mirror he was still staring

I think you're doing everything you can do, but you know this guy better than any of us so your instinct is probably right...
- Is he just trying to be vindictive? ie: Say things to cause you (& your wife) distress?
