It wasn't I that made the initial comparison, so the argument wasn't mine.
 
Didn't Ferreira just sign a new contract? Maybe Boswinga still could be off :p

edit: and there's been the odd bit of speculation that Mancienne could be off too (some reports even linking him with us).

just because he has been able to buy his way out of trouble does not necessarily mean that we should trust every new purchase he is about to make.

oh sorry so it doesn't make sense to look at past achievements but it's perfectly fine to look at past failures? Perhaps he hasn't won enough titles for you in his time here? with all those signings that have 'detracted' from us winning the titles that we have.
As for Benzema, I have no real idea how he'd perform in this league but he seems fast and strong enough to cope, so if Ferguson did decide to go for him then yes I would put my faith in his choice.
Oh and as for our 'less than stoic defence' I believe that defence conceded the fewest goals in the premier league that season and the fewest of any team that reached the quarters or beyond of the cl so it was hardly leaking goals left right and center.
Half your posts on here seem to give the impression that you think if you were in Fergusons shoes you could do a better job than him. I don't know if it's towing the 'ManuPartyLine' (Manu?? - from a fan as well) to say you're talking nonsense tbh.

Of course maybe just maybe we'll go with Manucho and Macheda as our 3rd and 4th choice strikers and we'll get a clean sweep next season, then I'll bow down to your superior footballing knowledge.
 
has there been any talk as to why Boswinga is being linked with a move away? He's been one of your more successful signings of recent times. is it just paper talk?
