thanks all
nah i dont want to do much to mine, just thought i would replace the filter (when it needs to be changed) to an aftermarket one to make it sound better, i like it standard, but i think a bit more roar would go down really well
id rather save the money on mods for a faster car (i moded my nissan 200sx and you never get the price u paid on mods back)
Remap, exhaust and panel filter is probably as much as i'd do. Tuning them gets expensive after that. You'll need to do the orignal exhaust in due course anyway when it rots through.
Realistically does the RStuner actually provide any performance gain?

is that just from the RS Tuner alone?
Yes - and of course better MPG if car is driven the same. Am trying to find an e-newsletter that was sent to me. I think I posted it within this thread. Can anyone find it?
Edit: Found it -http://fastchip.nl/media/RSTuner_PFC-feature.pdf

Yes - cannot remember the figure but it's around 9 at the fly. I think that was a 172 Cup.
I'm gonna be taking my 182 in for a Cam Belt change and was wondering if there are any other small things I should get them to change whilst they have the front of the car off.
Having a quick scout around it seems asking for a replacement water pump is a good move, is there anything else?
Also I had my aux belt replaced about 6 months ago, will I need this replacing when they do the cam belt (slacken the aux belt to get to the cam belt?). Since I only had this replaced 6 months ago will renault fork out the cost of the new aux belt?

but so far really enjoying it. Managed to get a quick detail in on sunday before the rain so it's looking pretty good.
When I picked the car up, I thought the guy that sold me it had said it had the decat on the car and the standard cat was in the box in the boot. So I get the car home and the car was making a funny buzzing sound, from what I thought was the decat. I had it in my head this was the normal sound the decat produced, so I decided I don't like this sound and go get it swapped for the standard cat. I turn up at the garage and explain all this to the guy, so he goes off to change it. He looks puzzled at the underside of my car, turns out it was the cat that was on, but there was a massive hole in it. So heres me thinking that it was the decat casuing the crappy sound. He swaps them over and currently loving the sound the decat is producing. The problem is I'll need to look at getting a sports cat come MOT time, but that's not for a while yet, thankfully. I'll hopefully get a few other things done in the near future, new exhaust, obviously the cat and uprate the standard brakes, which I'm not overly impressed with.
