My god im hooked, this game i can tell right away is going to be epic. It runs on max settings with the exception of 2xaa. I also turned film grain off. I was getting 50-60 fps with the occasional drop to 40

Played for about 5 or so hours today, pretty good so far. I find scanning the planets for minerals a very big chore though, I actually prefer the mako system of exploring a planet... Has anyone noticed a lot of glitches? My character keeps jumping into the sky and getting stuck forcing me to re-load. Not a big problem as it seems to auto save frequently but after playing ME1 with only getting stuck in the environment about twice, it was a bit dump to happen about 4-5 times today.

Oh and this is retail version before people think I have pirated. :)

I played the original on Xbox and I'm chuffed at how well this game runs and how quickly it loads on this not-amazingly-powerful PC. Looks great too, even with the film grain filter on.

i own the console version and i cant believe just how great it looks and runs, they have honestly worked some real magic on this one, the whole game just has this polish and quality in every area

Lots of downloads and setting up.
If you select the ME2 launcher, and launch game, it will come up with a small menu. Click on downloadable content - will take you to a web page. Enter the promo code there, and everything whould be available. This also automatically connecter the cerberus network for me.

Yeah I have that fine, downloaded and installed all of them. The problem is Brunel Uni blocks certain ports. I will have to wait for the next bake off to get them to unblock them.

Genius I am, I will just tether my hero and use oranges 3g network to validate all my items. Should work from then on.

I'm getting that a lot - only 40 minutes into the game and already happened around 5-6 times - just standing in thin air - I find if you try to move backwards and wiggle around a bit usually you drop back to the ground again but sometimes I've had to quickload.

At least planet scanning is less likely to instil madness as you spend ten minutes crawling up a 90 degree incline to find minerals :D

My only issue is that the mouse feels a bit sluggish - can't see any way of adjusting the sensitivity.

I did wonder at one point if they'd gone for a "weighted" aiming system, like they do in games like ARMA...but I think this is just sluggish ;) Can't see any .ini file to alter mouse sensitivity either...
