I just love all these alien bars - lots of holographics, nude alien dancers, spirits to destroy half of your brain. Why can't we have discovered extra terrestrial life already?![]()
Its not worth the effort, we have most of that here![]()
My only issue is that the mouse feels a bit sluggish - can't see any way of adjusting the sensitivity.
I did wonder at one point if they'd gone for a "weighted" aiming system, like they do in games like ARMA...but I think this is just sluggishCan't see any .ini file to alter mouse sensitivity either...
^See when there are spikes in the graph, for large deposits of an element - launch the probe there to get the most out of it.

Did you use the Import ME1 saves tool in the Launcher options?
1 thing that really irritates me is how damn slow the mouse speed is when your scanning a planet. Takes FOREVER to scan and in the end just hurts your wrist.
Found this on the Bioware forum - fix for the insanely high mouse sensitivity :
Download and install notepad++. If you use notepad or wordpad to edit these files, you will not be able to start Mass Effect 2.
Backup and edit "Mass Effect 2/BioGame/Config/PC/Cooked/Coalesced.ini" with notepad++
Search for "MouseSensitivity" and change it to your liking. I used 0.5.
a) Remove one 0 from "DoubleClickTime=0.250000"
b) Change bEnableMouseSmoothing=true to false
Save file and start ME2
Note that ME2 will not start if Coalesced.ini doesn't contain exactly the same numbers of characters as before.
I have ingame set to low, and use 0.3 in the .ini.
Have you got the scanning upgrade for the Normandy, speeds up the mouse movement.
