English League Football [6th - 10th Feb 2010] **spoilers**

Arsenal have come out with some very defeatist remarks this week.

It's the same every season, he's getting boring.

We play nice football, we do it on a budget, we use youth players, we come so close... BUT YOU WIN NOTHING.

Arsene Wenger, the most frustrating manager in world football.

Would Kyrgiakos's leg been there had he not dived in? No

And if Fellaini hadn't closed down Kyriakos then it would have been a perfectly good tackle

Can you explain why Fellaini's making a jumping/stamping action? That's not how players usually control the ball.

No complaints with Kyriakos getting sent off; as soon as you go in two footed then you're running the risk of getting sent off (even if you've not gone in over the ball etc) but Fellaini's challenge was just as bad if not worse and could have easily broken Kyriakos's leg.

No.

They were both bad "tackles", Fellaini's challenege wasn't worse or better then the Liverpool players tackle.

It's just "worse" because he doesn't play for Liverpool.

I don't think that Fellaini's tackle was on purpose either, but I do think they were both red cards.

I think he meant it. He elbowed Kyriakos in the box earlier in the game then kicked Kuyt in the face after the whistle had blown for a foul then jumped in two footed. It was exactly the same sort of tackle that Axel Witsel did when he snapped Wasilewski's leg. He's a vicious **** and does stuff like that all the time.

Gerrard kicked someone in the ribs when they were on the floor? He also beats people up on nights out with his friends, he's just a vicious **** and does stuff like that all the time.

Jermone? The dude that plays up top for B'ingham has no ability on the ball a bit like SWP, they can just run and kick a ball.

I think he meant it too. He has that nasty streak about him. I think the correct decision would have been to send them both off but the referee had a right mare whole game with a lot of decisions and cards. Luckily for Liverpool, they were able to fight on and score to win the game.

Two footed, studs raised is never a perfectly good tackle.

If he's not tackling anybody like I said, then it is :p

Fellaini's a dirty **** and did mean it. The ball was on the ground so there was no reason to raise his studs or stamp down on the ball. He went in to injure Kyriakos, just like he intentionally kicked Kuyt and elbowed Kyriakos earlier in the game.

Oh and stop being a clown. I've not defended Kyriakos's challenge and clearly said nobody could complain with his red card.

Fellaini's actual challenge was much worse than Kyriakos' challenge on him. Both definite red cards and the more I watch it, the more apparent it is that Fellaini went in to hurt Kyriakos for flying in like he did, and as bad as it looked at the time, very little real contact from Kyriakos.

So going in with two feet up is okay?
Baz is that you?

Kyriakos's tackle was awful, Fellaini's wansn't any better but I kinda think he was reacting to the lunge by the Liverpool player.

Both red cards though.

Can you read? Where did I say going in with two feet up was ok? And then you go on to say exactly what I did say.

No you said that the two footed lunge really wasn't that bad and very little contact was made. Does this make it okay?

You said that Fro went in on purpose to do the Liverpool player, (so he can see in to the future and see the tackle coming) it happened so quickly, I think it was more of a reaction (a bad one) but I don't think he thought about it.
