I don't think Fellaini did it intentionally, I still think it's a red though.
Harsh punishment for something he could do nothing about, dontcha think?

Arsenal have come out with some very defeatist remarks this week.

Would Kyrgiakos's leg been there had he not dived in? No

And if Fellaini hadn't closed down Kyriakos then it would have been a perfectly good tackle![]()
No complaints with Kyriakos getting sent off; as soon as you go in two footed then you're running the risk of getting sent off (even if you've not gone in over the ball etc) but Fellaini's challenge was just as bad if not worse and could have easily broken Kyriakos's leg.
I think he meant it. He elbowed Kyriakos in the box earlier in the game then kicked Kuyt in the face after the whistle had blown for a foul then jumped in two footed. It was exactly the same sort of tackle that Axel Witsel did when he snapped Wasilewski's leg. He's a vicious **** and does stuff like that all the time.
Two footed, studs raised is never a perfectly good tackle.

No.
They were both bad "tackles", Fellaini's challenege wasn't worse or better then the Liverpool players tackle.
It's just "worse" because he doesn't play for Liverpool.
I don't think that Fellaini's tackle was on purpose either, but I do think they were both red cards.
So going in with two feet up is okay?
Baz is that you?
Kyriakos's tackle was awful, Fellaini's wansn't any better but I kinda think he was reacting to the lunge by the Liverpool player.
Both red cards though.

Can you read? Where did I say going in with two feet up was ok? And then you go on to say exactly what I did say.![]()
