have abs and stability on, braking suggested line, ai set to hard and simulation damage.

currently doing races in my focus i would have hoped that the ai cars are upgraded atleast a little when you upgrade, class c world championship season 2 took a few more corners to get in the lead but i still won by a fair way. hope it gets more difficult.


focus now has 732bhp is AWD and is a bit undrivable, 2.2 seconds to 60 tho with top speed of 165. is that quicker than a veyron to 60??

On the one hand it sounds like you're pretty good. On the other, the lower classes are fairly straightforward. A class next season should test you a bit more.
 
If you want a challenge, you really need to pick a car/tune that puts you towards the back of the grid..

The problem with FM is that you can in a lot of cases just upgrade your car well beyond the AI's capability, and it becomes a walk in the park..
 
the class specific ones are a bit more challenging than the standard races, but thats down to my car being ever so slightly slower. what im finding now is its me followed by second place close enough to keep me honest and the rest of the pack way behind.

I sometimes wish that they had a mode that deliberately put you in a slower car all the time, as you are finding AI on hard is not that hard when you get a bit of experience. If you do find it way too easy, just keep picking cars with much lower PI's and see how much less PI you can get away with and still get to first place..

Or just go online, find some forum organised race series, and then find out what a real challenge is!

You defo want to do that!!

For some real organised events, I can highly recommend www.forzamotorsport.co.uk (Home of PzR and TfR teams), they usually have at least 2 series running at a time, and all are welcome, I've entered a lot recently, there is something for everyone, they had their own Clip Cup series first race last night, it was pretty mad, it's also week 2 of the Classic American Muscle Series!
 
just been racing online, bit pants for someone just starting as everyone has the perfect car tuned to the max of each bracket, plus no one overtakes they just bump you off.

Yup, public races are inevitably full of joe-public!

I gave up very quickly, and why I started joining in forum racing comps.. it's the only way to have good, clean racing!

Since most run lobby systems, you tend to congregate to people of your own skill level, so never feel overwhelmed or un-challenged.
 
went on the forum to have a look at some racing but it seems like too much effort is required to race. will hopefully jump in with some ocukers at some point
 
Ok guys just bought a mates 360 at the weekend so went and got forza3 a network adapter and a gold membership and boy is this a fun awesome game having a right blast in my Lancia delta integrale at Norscliefe lol.

I think he did, I left after that race anyways as I had a few things to do.

Another clip from last nights cat and mouse with Rumpel4skin and Ston3dMonkeh, driving my Mini in Cat & Mouse and had bandits tailing me....


How lucky was that? :o:eek::D
 
Making me want to come back to this. Will need to renew my live too. Argh, tempting!

EDIT: Argh, another car pack the Furai... And 4 other DLCs?!
