Well people should. This thread is going around in circles, first the drawings, then to the war, then to paedophiles, then on to beef.

No-one is doing no-one a favour in this thread, and people are just making themselves look idiotic. They know who they are, clearly they fail on all levels of intellectual understanding.

It's over and done with, there is nothing more that can be discussed.

Also I'm surprised how a lot of you are complain about this when all of you have made claims on here saying you break several fairly big rules in Islam on a regular basis, and not though extraordinary circumstance or because you tried to resist but failed, but because you simply couldn't be bothered to even try and excused yourself with "ah well we'll be forgiven".


If Muslims are free to ignore the rules of thier religion for their own pleasure and be forgiven why shouldn't everyone else?

So why are they not out on the street protesting against extremists killing children for going to school, killing women for trying to get an education, bombing other muslim civilians for no reason, hanging gays and adulterers, killing their own flesh and blood for bringing dishonour to the family and generaly dragging your religion through the dirt?

No protests against any of the above. But when a Danish cartoonist draws muhammad there are riots, churches burned, embassies burned and violent deaths all over the word.

It's the intent that is important, thankfully doing something with the intent of offending isn't illegal (assuming that's why some people drew Muhammed, personally I was just trying out my Wacom :p).

I seem to realise just why you cannot grasp the concept of free speech or these cartoons with opinions as ridiculous as those which are held by outdated, barbaric desert religions.

Oh, it seems like this might completely mortify you, but did you also know that both my parents are extremely racist, and have supremicist views of their own race? Oh wow, I'm being evil for calling racist supremecists racist supremecists.

Though I suppose that if Hitler had kids, they were probably much better people than I am, assuming that they respected Hitler and never said anything bad about him.

besides (certain)movies/documentries/news reports dont seem to be bound by the same censorship and ofcourse the context in which it is used counts.

but what they show in the movies is different to what you could make for a home movie.......violent rape scene in a movie is acceptable but if you were to reenact the scene at home and video tape it would get you in serious trouble.



i wonder if we will ever get a draw the nude simpons day in protest for that Australian guy who was arrested :p
 
They search tourists for illegal porn, not porn.
They do the same to folsk entering the UK we just don't hear about it much.

Watch a few espidoes of Border Patrol: Austrialia, and you'll see the odd laptop getting investigated and they guy saying, play x or y for me, and they check to see if its legal stuff, rather than importing illegal porn.
Same all over the world.

They get free control to search everyone's laptop, phone, etc. It doesn't matter what porn they're searching for, the point is that it's such a huge invasion of privacy. I mean, what if you have private videos or pics taken with your partner? I know I have, and my girlfriend is currently in the air right this second on her way to Australia, so she better have taken them off! :p

But I think that they need some kind of a search warrant in the UK to search people like that.

This is nonsense when we're talking about a religion that encourages people to stone rape victims to death. To murder their daughters for "honour".

No. We draw a line right here. We say we're opposed to the parts of your religion that are barbaric and cruel, and we will not allow it to invade our country.

And no freakin' way am I ever going to vote to let them have Sharia law in this country.

The more you read about the things that happen in Pakistan and places with Islamic law, the more you learn how mercilessly brutal it is. People are entitled to their beliefs until those beliefs promote violence... then they can shove it, as far as I'm concerned.
