Well sort of, you get Desire software that looks like stock 2.1 yes, you'll need to remove Sense/Rosie and all that goes with it (Friend stream, weather widget etc) :)

Thing is my Orange contract hasn't expired yet, I'm at 15/18 months, this is my upgrade point, I doubt changing networks would be an option.
 
I have been using my Desire for a week or so now and loving it, much better than the iphone imo.

Anyway I have a question about transferring contacts, I have my old o2 sim card with contacts on it. I stuck it in the phone and tried to copy the sim card stuff to the phone but they havent shown up. When one of my contacts texts/calls me it just shows the number and not the name :(

Any ideas?
 
I have a issue with my phone .no one can here me when I make a call l hear them fine though. I've checked mute isn't on and when I put speaker it still doesn't work.
I need help please I'm on the verge of pulling my hair out I don't know what ive done.

Well i've tested the voice recording software and it's not working so i'm lead to the point that my mic is dead!

I'll be ringing o2 up tomorrow not happy about this at all!

hmmm tbh this has nothing to offer over my htc touch hd than a flash unless someone can convince me otherwise?
 
Just a question, when you enable LauncherPro/Helix Launcher etc, it gives you the option of defaulting to that or the Sense UI, and you can set it to remember what you choose (which you need to do, obviously).

If I wanted to go back to the Sense UI, where do I change that default setting? Cant seem to find it anywhere :p
 
Somewhere in Settings -> Applications -> Find the Launcherpro process and reset to default

After you've done that, when you press home it will ask what launcher you want to run again
 
Yeh I have 3, only 1 of them are of decent quality. The seams(?) on the other 2 aren't aligned properly, i.e. not symmetrical on both sides..
