Media is hyping up terrorism and the issue with extremism to be bigger then it really is. It will not be the next dominating culture in this country or anything like that.

Islam has been in this country for so long so has people wearing veils and you are all worried about them now because of a few things happening here n there in the world that the media is hyping up a bit to much i would say.

And your generalising the islamic population based on a minority of extremeists WHO I WILL NOT even call Muslims. They are not muslims and that is not how islam is ment to be practiced.
 
Well i think it is a sign of respect to adhere to the culture and customs of the country that you live in. So it would be rude to a wear a ninja suit in a society that finds it disturbing.

edit: put on some jeans and a tshirt. no one will even care...

think of the nudist colonies... what would they say ?

The way people go on about it, Islam is invading with massive armies, constructing mosques and minarets on every corner.

There are 2 million Muslims in the UK. Compare that to the UK population of 62 million, Muslims make up 1/31st of the entire population. If all those 2 million Muslims are terrorists, then why aren't there news stories of a terrorist attack every day in the UK.

The 'threat' is starting to become overblown.

So why aren't you adhering to the traditional british culture of individualism, tolerance and accepting differences?
 
Where I live you cant wear a helmet in a shop incase you rob it, therefore you need to show your identity. But apparently muslims can wear anything they want, so when they rob it, no identity. one rule for one...

Is it just going to be these opinions turned over again and again by different simpletons?

You can simply ask them to remove it, if they do not you can ask them to leave. :)

You know, like adults.
 
Muslim culture by its character is a self replicating self contained and does not allow other cultures in to it. So inevitably when you look at certain areas in the UK that have become predominately muslim you can see that it is not like other cultures that just mold or gel in the british society.

Is there a law banning the helmet? A shop is a private property and owners have the right to ask people to remove anything covering their face. That right extends to muslims.

This ban targets Muslims in a public space where they should have as much right to wear their veil as you are to wear a pair of jeans.

Well if thats how they feel why do they feel the need to come here to live when they can live in their already self contained countrys ?

There isnt any, but every time a muslim is "offended" by something they play the racism card.

Happens a lot in university too, muslim student gets bad marks, complains, pulls the racism card, suddenly she/he gets a first.

There is a difference between hoodie and helmet had you not noticed so far...

also, banning hoods may break some human rights.
