I wouldn't be too worried yet. Look how fast RBR have been in qualifying and how often they've ballsed it up in the race. Ferrari haven't been anywhere since Bahrain, this could be a one-off, who knows.

Don't think its a one off. Ferrari looked fast at Valencia and Silverstone, the just got unlucky with the penalties and SC.

True, but not quick enough to seriously challenge for pole and/or the race win. This is quick on a different level, RBR have been so dominant in qualifying and I'm very surprised Alonso's this quick

I was about to say the same thing.

The biggest advantage for Ferrari is that they have no more big upgrades. They are now committed to making incremental upgrades, which means they shouldnt be taking any steps backwards.

The other big factor is that Ferrari have Alonso. Now, there are question marks on Alonso's ability - has he lost it or has he still got it? Alonso is showing glimpses of his old brilliance BUT I can't help but feel that right now he is trading on his past reputation.

If Alonso gets it together, then I 100% believe that he will be the top scorer in the 2nd half of the year. The problem for him is that Hamilton is about 50 points ahead of him. Can also really make up such a huge gap?
