Not a chance they don't have the spending on next years cars either. Mercedes are just spending the money that they are getting back from selling shares in Mclaren in stages. They won't be spending the sort of money that the rest are. They bought Brawn to scale down the spending they had at mclaren.

Regardless they are well along the design of next years car and they haven't taken the considerable spending from one team to another.

If the figures are to be believed, Mercedes are spending more money than any other team in F1 (bar Ferrari). How can you say that they are not spending as much as other teams?
