I think the GPU users group is doable, providing they don't recruit any more big hitters (their top 5 amass a total of 314k RAC :eek:) and all the upgrades planned and implemented hold together.

The Dutch could be more than a little tricky, and as for the Bosch ..... :(

Anything is doable though the Bosch well lets just say the longer it takes the sweeter the satisfaction, i'd happily mortgage my soul to run em down :)
Bought my first ati (please forgive me for using those 3 letters) on mm, just a 4850 so i can do a bit more for milkyway etc.
 
I know what you mean, I look at some of those teams and think that we will never catch them, but we have done very well over the last 6-8 months. If I get a chance later I will try and dig out one of TheTross old news posts as I can remember him congratulating everyone for our RAC going over 200K :D

Its easy to forget just how well we have been doing lately..
It's also easy to forget that we were once number 1 as well :mad:
 
If we could just keep up the output, avoid loosing any big hitters and encourage non-active members back to the fold(dirty word) am sure we can do it.
Be interesting to know from TT or looking through old posts just what it was that set the team on a descent from number 1 hmm i will go a mooching today:(
 
The output will rise. Several people, yourself included have put in usefull upgrades that take up to 6 weeks to fully hit the team RAC. TT's be off, and Marine Iguana has an upgrade planned. With all of that, I think we could be looking at getting pretty close to the cloggies.......:)
 
Sounds good we cant show any mercy for folks that wear wooden shoes afterall, allmost forgot we have 2 team stomps in the near future sweet :D
 
ive just noticed that boinc 6.10 is out. the release note say that ati cards are supported. Does this mean they will now work with seti@home?

Not sure, but remember it is a boinc release which supports multiple projects..
AFAIK - there is a combo ati gpu/cpu app for astropulse units, but thats it..

Correct

Other than for Astropulse units there is no other support for ATI on seti.

But who knows what the future may bring?

On a side note, my Hybrid GTX275/GTS250 has made it's way back to EVGA (via RMA) for repair/replacement..........

Winder what will happen if they can't repair and don't have anymore?

As long as i've passed you by the time you get it they can send you whatever they like :p;)

Lets hope its at least a 470 although id prefer 2 460's as it was a 'dual card' after all but i doubt it.

Seen as you've asked it wasn't but looking at the stats if everything stays the same I will be passing Loudbob sometime at the end of this week or the start of next. Maybe if i'm really lucky it will be during the server down time but i'm not optimistic.

So parp warning in place please make all necessary arrangements and i'll try and make it as painless as possible ;).
