im downloading it now but only because it has support for ie 9 beta gpu acceleration,i don't even use my 4650 for games anymore

tbh i've only tried a quick go on l4d2, but it feels smoother... whether that's a placebo or not i couldn't tell you

You can also automatically update the Catalyst drivers through Steam now.

Had a quick blast on BC2 to test and was getting 90's fps so improvement there for sure not tried anything else mind.

These look terrible in BFBC2. Back to 10.4 again.

Just tried 10.9's - BFBC2 looks the exact same, and as far as I can tell performs the exact same. Load times are fast, my fps 80-120 with dx10, hsao off, 4XAA.

if i want to update the drivers i will do it myself , steam has enough control of my games thank you . no mention weather or not this function can be turn off yet either

It's just an option in the Steam menu, I don't think it's automated at all.

Same here. looks great and seems to be playing great as well, not checked the fps but seemed fine in the hour or so I just played.

no mention of this and nothing in the steam settings , but dont say anything they will just delete your post if you complain on the amd forums

Agree, best driver so far for BF. No CTD's (so far) and seems a lot smoother over the 10.5's I was using.

I just installed over the top, no BSOD on install either.

I'd take a long hard look at your rig mate as I've never once had a BSOD on driver install. These 10.9's seem pretty good

Just formatted my PC last night and was about to reinstall 10.8's when i remembered these came out. installed fine with profiles, no issues so far though yet to try any games out
