COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

In all honesty the more I see of this game the less I like. Reminds me of WAW, and I didnt like that, took it back to the shop for a refund!!

If this was my thread it would be called: "COD Black Ops looks pretty crap on PC"

I think MW2 may have killed the franchise... if not they have at minimum lost momentum to Dice.

DICE haven't exactly grabbed their opportunity. They haven't released a single map since the release of game, apart from "map packs". I bought BC2 and like many people got pretty bored of it after a month or so, and now their releasing an expansion pack with four whole brand new maps, for what 20 quid or so?
 
Can't believe I've persevered with MW2's awful Mp for so long. I'm so close to Fall Camo on the F2000 but don't know if I CBA to get it now.

Never seen a Fall Camo F2000 in game though!

Yeah no way this game will be cheap activision will milk this for months if it gets good reviews, i reckon it might even make more money that MW2.

I understand that people are entitled to their own opinions.

But, BC2 is currently the top fps out in the market.... maybe not in your opinion, but overall Iv heard so many other say the same.

Up untill COD4 every COd got better and better, and culminated with the orgasm that was COD4.

However WAW, I didnt by for like 9moths after launch becuase COD4 was so good. A few days after sampling the multiplayer in WAW, I realized how crap it was, and how abslutly fantastic COd4 was so I took WAW back.

MW2, took Infinity Ward back to a dark place. They broke everything that was good in MW1 and consolized the game. Epic fail!

No dedicated servers was one thing but, for me the killer was the extremely small players per team in multiplayer. 6v6 is pathetic. Even more pathetic when a few drop out and your left, 4v4 or 2v3.... garbage and fundamentally broken.

Then came along BFBC2! Hallelujah. I was looking for a game that was at least in some way team based. This is the closest Iv seen. Add to that its a top notch fps and great graphics. Left MW2 way behind.

Black Ops? Well, I see the dogs are back (Typical Tryearch crap) and the small team sizes are there again. So it looks like no lessons have been learnt.

Add to that all Treyarch COD's have sucked!

When BF3 comes out, that will further push Dice and the Battlefiled series in the forefront of FPS and COD will be the one in the back seat.

All this coming from a COD fan boi!
 
I prefer WAW to COD4, maps better suit the player numbers. I still play it now in fact.

BFBC2 got boring after a month of play and was uninstalled a while ago.

Hehe not really, which is why I wanted Fall on it. I've about 30 HSs to go.

Once you master the recoil it's actually really nice to use, although you will always get better KDR with other weapons, depending onthe map.

I always like the harder, rarer things. I only have about 10 kills with g18s in nearly 700 hours of gameplay, for instance and I refuse to tube or quickscope!

how anyone can say that bc2 is better than cod 4 is comedy gold.

cod 4 still has the big amount of players
has mods that are very good and free (unlike bfbc2 your paying for four maps soon lol )
has big competitive scene
is so simple yet so good to play without being boring
runs flawlessly

bc2 has good sound and decent graphics thats about it

check your xfire and steam see how many are on bf2 and whos playing cod 4 :D

i like a few rounds of bc2 but then its like boring !

You miss understand me. COD4 is a perfect FPS. A legend. A masterpeice!

I only moved on becuase I wanted something new and something that promoted teamwork and BFBC2 gives me that.

But I agree COD4 best COD easy and possibly* best fps up to now.....
