Hazro series - HZ30Wi, HZ30WiQ, HZ27WA, HZ27WB & HZ27WC

Hey! Something is happening on the shop website!

http://hazro.com/index.php

Hi

I just received an answer from hazro, telling me that:
The HZ27WA/B/C models will be available in 2 weeks from Overclockers. All EU purchases can be made directly from our new site due to go live next week. Pricing is to be set but we expect a MSRP of max £550 and £420 [inc. VAT] for the HZ27WA and HZ27WC respectively [although launch promos maybe on offer]. Also, EU business customers with a valid TAX ID can purchase the product tax free.

Cheers - Klaus

Guys, I have received reply from Hazro customer support.
New 27" monitors will be available from OCUK shop in next 2 weeks.

ROFL :D :p :p :p

Yes we all know that.

Nah seriously though, that would be great :) just two more weeks :p

I guess the real news here is that OCUK will be stocking them. That's definitely a good thing as at least we'll have 1 year of solid warranty if Hazro go..... somewhere.

But I love the "two weeks", bit. Will it ever end? So reminds me of this:

I like to think of the bad guy as Gibbo trying to get stock.

And this is us, the customer, and Hazros customer support:

:D

ok, now i'm confused. I thought Hazro planned to sell the new ones direct.
Or maybe they still plan that AND plan to sell thru OCUK?

If that's the case, do you reckon it's better buying thru OC, or get it straight from Hazro (assuming the launch discounts are still on)?

Yeah, I though it was UK people buy at OCUK, the rest via their direct shop.
I'll be happy to purchase via OCUK even though I'm overseas customer as I'm not to confident about their warranty.

@neologan:
Thanks, I almost spilled my coffee... at work... :D

i think intention now is that all UK orders would be supplied via OcUK and Hazro would not sell direct. however other European orders would be done direct from hazro's new website shop

Correct: UK buyers - OCUK in next two weeks. UE buyers - Hazro website shop, next week.

Assuming OcUK are close to/equal Hazro's price I'd buy from here anyway. I'd rather get a warranty I can trust ;)

So i've had a look at the warrenty on OCUK, it appears to be a standard 12 month warranty. I'd assume Hazro would be offering at least that themselves. Ok it's moot if they are only selling direct to Europe, but am i missing somthing?

No doubt Hazro will be offering more than that, and if you buy from OCUK you still get the Hazro warranty. My worry is and will remain that Hazro are small and are not really established and proven yet, so I see the OCUK bit as good news. :)

This. I've read some great things about Hazro monitors, but I just like to have a safety net.

I'm still using my old but trusty HZ26wi. The brushed aluminium is absolutely gorgeous, the panel is very nice (IPS) and has an excellent response time. Only downsides are the black levels (shocking!) and lack of a VESA mount. Been trying to source a VESA adaptor from the new Hazro but they've cut off all ties with their old products :(.
However...time to upgrade I think when the new 27 inchers come out!
