I think the Game of Thrones series is supposed to be based on both the Tudors and the Borgias (the historical dynasties, not the TV series).
No, it's mostly based very loosely on the second War of the Roses. Think of Tyrion as Richard the Third to get the general idea. But don't read too much into that as to where the plot goes - as I said, VERY loosely. Martin has said he took the feel from that period, but not the history.

I thought the Tudors won the War of the Roses
Thats what I'm thinking of doing too!
Can't help but feel it will be cancelled before then. For one if he is doing a book a series then he'll never have time to finish the books before the show catches up.
It's already been picked up for the 2nd Series/Book.
This show isn't going anywhere currently. I'm watching the 1st Season then cracking on with the books, this is way too good.
These scenes seem to be quite important in her character development. At the beginning, she is very timid, weak, and a slave to the wills of her brother and khal. Her taking initiative, will strengthen the relationship with khal (at the expense of that with her brother?) and is part of her becoming stronger individually.
But it's good sex too.
Thought the second episode was better than the first - got to find out a lot more about the characters and their weaknesses. Really good so far.![]()
For someShe was crying when she was being screwed which was pretty uncomfortable to watch![]()
Have we seen Theon Greyjoy yet, can't recall?

Yes, been in it quite a lot although I don't think they've actually named him, he's probably in the credits as the guy who hangs around with Robb Stark. For example he was in the Godswood with Robb and Cat when they were discussing the possibility that someone pushed Bran.
For some![]()
